Monsieur Serigne Bassirou Gueye (Sénégal) ACTING TREASURER, NACIWA.
Appointed President of OFNAC by Decree No. 2022-2010 of December 1, 2022, Mr. Serigne Bassirou Gueye has been a trained magistrate since 1997.
He has held senior positions in the Senegalese judicial system.
Among others, he has been:
– Minister – Legal Advisor to the President of the Republic;
– Public Prosecutor at the Dakar High Court (Hon Classes);
– Technical Advisor No. 1 to the Minister of Justice;
– Deputy Attorney General at the Dakar Court of Appeal;
– Public Prosecutor at the Tambacounda Regional Court;
– Auditor at the Court of Cassation;
– Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Dakar Regional Court (Hon Classes).
Outside of his professional experience, Mr. Gueye served as:
– Vice President of the Association of Auditors of the International Academy of Constitutional Law;
– Treasurer General of the Union of Senegalese Magistrates;
– Expert of the Senegalese Committee for Human Rights;
– Secretary for Press and Communications of the Association of Graduates of National Schools of Administration and Magistracy;
– Secretary General of the Association of Former Participants of the IDLO;
– Secretary for Communications of the Meeting for the Defense of Academic Values
